Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal information Nogal Operations collects through this website, why we hold it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
Effective date: 18 September 2026
Who controls your information
NOGAL LTD is the controller of the personal information described in this notice.
- NOGAL LTD, registered in Scotland, company number SC370327.
- Registered office: Summit House, 4-5 Mitchell Street, Edinburgh, EH6 7BD.
For any privacy question or request, write to privacy@nogaloperations.com.
What we collect
The only information you actively give us is what you type into the contact form on this website:
- Your name.
- Your business email address.
- Your company name, if you choose to give it.
- The message you send us.
In addition, basic technical information is created automatically whenever a page is served, such as the request time and the internet address the request came from. This is used to keep the site available and secure.
We do not run advertising or analytics tracking on this site, and we do not buy or enrich contact lists.
Why we use it
- To read and reply to your enquiry.
- To send ourselves the notification email that carries your message.
- To keep the website running, available and secure.
- To keep ordinary business and contact records of who we have spoken to.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell it.
Our lawful bases
- Legitimate interests: replying to a business enquiry you sent us, keeping records of our business conversations, and keeping the website secure.
- Steps taken at your request before entering a contract: where your enquiry leads to a proposal or an engagement.
- Legal obligations: where we are required to keep or disclose information, for example for tax or accounting records.
Marketing
Sending us a message does not add you to a mailing list. Nogal Operations does not currently operate one. If that changes, we will ask for your consent separately using an unticked checkbox, and you will be able to withdraw it or unsubscribe at any time without affecting anything else.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted providers who process information on our instructions and only for the purposes above: the platform that hosts this website, the database that stores contact-form submissions, and the service that delivers our email. They are bound by written terms and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We do not use any other category of provider for the information described here. If you would like to know which providers are in use at a given time, ask us and we will tell you.
International transfers
Our hosting, database and email providers operate global infrastructure, so your information may be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or on a country covered by UK adequacy regulations. We do not claim that your information stays inside the UK.
How long we keep it
- Business enquiries and related correspondence: 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
- Incomplete or abandoned form attempts: 30 days.
- Completed assessments and feedback, where you have given them to us: 24 months.
- Marketing contact information: until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer needed.
- Minimal suppression records: kept for as long as necessary to respect an unsubscribe request.
Where a longer period is required by law, for example for accounting records, we keep only what that obligation requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete information we no longer need to hold.
- Restrict how we use your information while a concern is resolved.
- Stop using your information where we rely on legitimate interests.
- Provide your information in a portable format, where that right applies.
- Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
Write to privacy@nogaloperations.com and we will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. Exercising these rights is free.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. Nothing non-essential is written to your browser storage, so there is no consent banner to accept or reject. If we later introduce anything non-essential, we will ask for your consent before it runs and update this notice.
Changes to this notice
This notice is effective from 18 September 2026. We may update it as the website or our services change, and the effective date above will always show the current version.
Questions about this notice, or a request about your own information, go to privacy@nogaloperations.com.
